Taxes

There is an income tax and a wealth tax that help support the government. The income tax is 25% of each person’s income. However, the wealth tax only applies to persons with over $1,000,000. The wealth tax is currently set at 50% but changes depending on the general wealth of the population. The intent of the wealth tax is not only to provide money for the government but to prevent rich people from becoming richer and to close the gap between the richest people and the poorest people.
