Who is The Prime?

The Prime will serve for 5 years. However, the Prime can not serve for more than 5 terms. The Prime holds control over diplomacy with foreign powers. However, as of current, there are no other civilizations on Pafut Meefneps, so they act as the ambassador to the Greater Universe Committee.

To elect a new Prime, all potential applicants must submit a Candidate Essay. The Assembly then looks over the Essays and selects 10 primary candidates. The Assembly then personally interviews the ten candidates and revises the list of main candidates further if they seem unfit for serving as Prime. In addition, if a fact in their essay is proven to be false at this time, they are also impeached permanently, thus it is of utmost importance to fact-check one’s essay. After candidate validation, The Assembly creates a summary of each candidate’s essay, to be put on voting forms. The general public then votes with ranked-choice voting to decide the new Prime.

When the Prime is impeached, they are either impeached permanently or temporarily. If they are impeached permanently, then they are unable to hold any office in the government ever again. However, if they are simply impeached temporarily, they can hold a government office the next term. If they are impeached temporarily twice however, then they are impeached permanently, and can no longer hold a government office.
