What is The Judicial Branch

The Judicial Branch is composed of judges and the department of law enforcement. Judges control trials. There are two kinds of trials: Civil and Criminal. Civil cases are filed by a Citizen while Criminal Cases are filed by the Government or Representetives of the government.

Before a trial, The Defendant gets to choose whether or not to have a jury. Each party has 2 week period to gather evidence for their case before the trial begins. Both parties have an inspectegator from law enforcement to aid their search. During that time, if a jury is needed, the members of the jury are selected. First, the Plaintiff will present their evidence to the court. The Defendant then gets a rebuttal before they present their evidence. After the Defendant presents their evidence to the court the Plaintiff gets a rebuttal. After the evidence has been presented, the court will make a decision.

To appoint a Judge, the Judge must first send a Candidate Essay to the Assembly. The Assembly will then decide whether or not to approve them with the other current judges. However, they will only appoint a judge when a judge leaves their position. This creates a line of judges. Each judge will serve for life and there will be 50 judges at any one time.

All judges can resign at any time. However, they cannot ever reapply to become a judge. Through a general vote of the public, The Legislative Branch can remove a judge. Similarly, if a judge is removed from office, then they cannot reapply.
