What is The Legislative Branch?

The Legislative Branch is composed of The Assembly, which is composed of 1 Assembly Member per 10,000 people. Each group of 10,000 people is known as a district, and each district votes to choose their Assembly Member. The Legislative Branch controls law and policy changes. Laws are rules that control citizens and companies, while policies control just companies.

When The Legislative Branch gets a proposal for a law or policy change, they vote on whether or not to approve the proposal for general voting. When thay make a decision, it is announced to the public. If The Legislative Branch gets at least 300,000 signatures to reconsider their decision, they will get a random pool of 500 voters to make a new decision. If the change is approved at any point, it will proceed to general voting. If ⅔ of the general public decides to instate the change, then it is signed into law by the prime.

When new Assembly members need to be elected, all Candidate Essays are given to the Assembly. After they select five candidates for each district, they interview them each and choose new ones if they need to. Once all the candidates are selected, each district uses ranked-choice voting to decide their new Assembly Member.

When removing an Assembly Member it proceeds just like a law or policy change. Once the member is removed the assembly will elect a new member like normal.
